On the second day of LEAP 2026 in Saudi Arabia, artificial intelligence took center stage as companies showcased the expanding role of AI, robotics, and digital services beyond research settings. LEAP and DeepFest visitors were treated to demonstrations that included humanoid robots, AI-driven prosthetics, and sophisticated computing systems tailored for large-scale AI applications. These exhibits underscored the increasing application of AI technologies to tackle real-world industry challenges.
Supermicro made a notable contribution with its advanced computing infrastructure, designed to support organizations as they scale up their AI initiatives. Mohammad Zahri, Supermicro’s Regional Director, emphasized the company’s dedication to providing robust computing environments capable of managing complex AI workloads, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation goals. Robotics also featured prominently, with Unitree showcasing intelligent robotics and AGIBOT presenting humanoid systems that integrate perception, decision-making, and physical interaction. Abel Deng, AGIBOT’s President for the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, highlighted embodied AI as a transformative step in the interaction between humans and technology.
In the realm of prosthetics, PSYONIC demonstrated its Bionic Hand, a prosthetic system that leverages AI to respond to user movements and integrate sensor and movement data. This innovation illustrates the potential for AI and robotics to enhance human-machine interaction and assist individuals with physical tasks. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s own digital transformation efforts were highlighted through Tawakkalna, a comprehensive digital government application supported by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).
During the event, 62 government entities were acknowledged for integrating their services into Tawakkalna, achieving the platform’s 2026 integration target. Currently serving over 36 million users, Tawakkalna provides access to more than 1,700 government services and processes in excess of 85 million transactions daily. The recent integration expanded the platform with 926 new services, offering a unified interface for citizens, residents, and visitors.
