Saudi Arabia Boosts Red Sea-Europe Connectivity with Advanced Flight Innovations

Saudi Arabia’s Air Connectivity Program (ACP) has taken a significant step forward by signing a memorandum of understanding with the premium airline, beOnd, to potentially establish direct all-premium flights from Red Sea International Airport to key European destinations. This initiative aims to link the Red Sea with six major cities: London, Paris, Milan, Munich, Zurich, and Moscow, thereby enhancing international travel access and bolstering the Kingdom’s tourism sector.

The formal agreement was inked at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026 in London, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s strategic efforts to enhance global air connectivity as part of its Vision 2030. This endeavor is designed to attract more international visitors, providing them with improved travel options while simultaneously positioning the Red Sea as a premier location for luxury travel. The collaboration is also anticipated to contribute to the Kingdom’s long-term economic growth by strengthening its aviation and tourism industries.

Officials involved in the agreement emphasized the partnership’s potential to significantly boost inbound tourism. By expanding travel choices and promoting the Red Sea as a top-tier luxury destination, the initiative supports broader goals of economic advancement through enhanced aviation links and increased visitor numbers.

beOnd, recognized for its premium leisure services, expressed that this collaboration underscores its dedication to advancing Saudi Arabia’s tourism objectives. By extending high-end travel services to the Kingdom, beOnd aims to align with Saudi Arabia’s ambitions, contributing to the nation’s burgeoning tourism landscape.
