Saudi FM Highlights Tech-Inspired Mediation in Mideast Talks with Iran, Pakistan

Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, engaged in diplomatic conversations with his counterparts from Iran and Pakistan to address recent regional developments. These discussions, which occurred through separate phone calls, were centered on the mediation efforts led by Pakistan between Iran and the United States, a key focus in the ongoing diplomatic dialogue. The Saudi Foreign Ministry provided details of these exchanges on Monday.

In a call with Iran’s Abbas Araghchi, Prince Faisal explored the latest progress in diplomatic talks concerning Iranian and U.S. relations. The two officials emphasized the significance of ongoing mediation efforts facilitated by Pakistan, reflecting a mutual interest in peaceful resolutions to regional tensions.

The Saudi Foreign Minister also reached out to his Pakistani counterpart, Ishaq Dar, further reinforcing the collaborative approach to mediation in the region. Their conversation underscored Pakistan’s pivotal role in fostering dialogue, with both sides reiterating their commitment to diplomatic solutions as a means to restore stability.
