SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and LiCAP Technologies, Inc. have officially entered into a strategic alliance aimed at accelerating advancements in electric vehicle (EV) battery production. This partnership will leverage LiCAP’s proprietary dry electrode technology, which eliminates the use of volatile organic compounds and other hazardous materials traditionally employed in electrode fabrication.
The initiative is closely aligned with Nissan’s long-term sustainability framework, targeting enhanced manufacturing efficiency, reduced ecological footprint, and the establishment of new standards for next-generation energy storage systems.
