However, the lack of a physical “work” environment means that the brain is constantly switching between professional tasks and domestic needs. This “role conflict” prevents the mind from ever reaching a state of deep relaxation or deep focus.

Each of these choices acts as a small “energy leak,” eventually leading to a total depletion of mental reserves.

To restore balance, experts recommend establishing a strict “morning launch” and “evening shutdown” ritual to signal the start and end of work. Utilizing a dedicated workspace and taking regular, scheduled breaks can also help create a sense of professional structure. By being intentional about their time, remote workers can protect their vitality.
